What’s for dinner?
April 26, 2023

Are you tired of everyone asking ‘what’s for dinner? Then scratching your head and quickly making yet another pan of pasta and pesto.
Cooking for your family on a daily basis can be exhausting and stressful. We know how important good nutrition is, but it’s not always easy to rustle up a tasty balanced meal!
Weekly meal planning can really help you out. By spending 15-20 mins planning out your meals for the week, you’ll be much less likely to eat quick carby meals that won’t make you feel good.
You’re also more likely to discover new meal ideas and get your family excited about eating delicious and nutritious food. Cook extra and you’ll have your lunches sorted too!
We love the BBC Good Food recipes and the ones in the free Asda magazine – they’re normally quite straight forward, with not too many ingredients.
Our beautifully framed magnetic whiteboards and blackboards are the perfect place to scribble down your weekly meal plan and write up your shopping list. Or consider our cork boards which are fab for pinning up your fav new recipes, along with all sorts of other life admin!!
Here’s a weekly menu idea to help get you started…
MON: Grilled chicken skewers/jacket pots/salad
TUES: Stuffed peppers/salad
WED: Pork stir fry
THURS: Spag bol
FRI: Chickpea/spinach/mushroom curry
SAT: Homemade fish/chips/peas
SUN: Roast chicken/roasted veg/broccoli
Happy meal planning!
